Thanks to my Mother-In-Law, I finally got Baby Riley’s hat delivered to her! It’s a simple hat I knit from my own pattern that I adorned with hearts and her name. I can’t wait to see her wearing it

Finished!!

I cast off this “lace nightie” 2 weeks ago but never got around to weaving in the ends and blocking it until now!

I’m very pleased with it! It’s my first knit garment… I plan to wear it as a tunic, not as a nightie as it is named.

I made some moderate/ significant changes to the pattern, which is free at interweaveknits.com. It is designed by Carrie B. Hoag.

I’ll post more pictures soon :-)

Knitting tip for ya kiddos to keep the outside of your centerpull ball from unwinding: Cut up some tall socks you’ve got with holes in them to like six inch tubes, cover your center pull, profit.

Also means I get to keep using the socks in prints I love even after they’ve got holes.
